• Resource Centre

We have a superb collection of books that reflect diverse cultures and experiences. This is intended to inculcate in the children a reading culture that is unprecedented while instilling pride in one’s cultural identity. Books, activities, field trips, and games all relate to and reinforce each other to nurture lifelong learners and global thinkers.

• Classroom Setting

The classrooms are filled with age specific materials aimed towards guiding the children through their academic journey coupled with tables and floor space. This environment helps facilitate child independence, versus traditional conformity, and encourages children to work collaboratively with each other as the space allows for greater movement and emphasis on the team. Each classroom is guided by two teachers.

• The Furniture

Rather than steel and plastic, the furniture at St.Gerald’s Academy places an emphasis on natural wood that sets the tone for a calming environment where children feel comfortable.

• Light

We are fortunate to have great roof heights that allow for massive windows to the outdoor. As a result, our classrooms are filled with natural light. This exposure creates a beautiful space in which the children work and grow. However, we also use both solar energy and on-grid electricity whenever need arises.

• Computer Lab

We have a fully dedicated computer lab with programs designed to engage children early as an enticing way to engrain them with a love of technology.

• Ample Spaces for Play and Movement

We are very fortunate to be located in a semi-rural environment that is conducive for learning. The school sits on a 31.8-acre piece of land with a standard playfield. In this setting, we have ample spaces available to the children for movement and play.

Services

St.Gerald’s Academy provides a range of services including Daycare, Kindergarten and Primary school education. We also provide transportation services for day scholars. We have designed our school routines to build a foundation for a child’s cognitive and physiological development to enhance their capability to learn and interact with more complex concepts in their academic life thereafter.

Co-curricular

Music, sports and drama are a significant part of a child’s life at St.Gerald’s Academy. Pupils are encouraged to participate, to show commitment and to try different things giving them opportunity to enjoy themselves, explore their hidden talents and develop them as well.
